Inlet Beach
Inlet Beach is in South Walton County, Florida, but because it’s not on Highway 30A it’s less well-known than other South Walton County beaches. Yet it’s just as beautiful. If you like your beaches less touristy and more residential, Inlet Beach may be the ideal beach for you.

- Public bathrooms – Yes.
- Showers – Yes.
- Parking – Yes, although the parking area is small.
- Food – No.
- Lifeguard – Yes, seasonally from the first Saturday in March until the last Sunday in September.

Southern Beach Bicycle & Water Sport Rentals, LLC (850-267-1107) is located in Gulf Place Town Center at the intersection of CR 393 and Hwy 30A. They rent bicycles, stand-up paddleboards, surfboards, and kayaks. If you ask, they may have some rental chairs and umbrellas available too. Southern Beach offers free delivery and pick up in the surrounding area bounded by Hwy 30A.
Sunny Days Bikes & Kayaks (850- 230-1974) is located at 5311 E. Hwy 30 A in Santa Rosa Beach. They rent bikes, stand-up paddleboards, and kayaks.
Butterfly Bike and Kayak (850-231-2826) is located at 3657 E. Hwy 30A in Seagrove Beach. They rent bikes, kayaks, scooters, and golf carts.
Big Daddy’s Bike and Beach Sports (850-622-1165) is located at 2217 Hwy 30A in Blue Mountain. They rent bikes and kayaks.
Directions:
To reach the public beach access point at Inlet Beach, Florida take US 98 from the east or west to S. Orange Street. Go south on S. Orange Street (i.e., take a right on S. Orange Street if you are coming from the west or take a left on S. Orange St. if you are coming from the east). Continue two blocks on S. Orange St. until you reach the intersection of S. Orange St. and Park Place Ave. where you will see a building housing Inlet Beach’s restrooms. Parking for Inlet Beach is on Park Place Avenue to the east and west of the restrooms. Alternatively, if you are driving to Inlet Beach from the beach towns of Hwy. 30A, you can take 30A east to where it intersects with US 98. From there it’s a very short distance to S. Orange St.
