The Southern California Coast
Southern Californians are in better shape than the rest of us.
Almost every car has a roof rack with surfboards/paddleboards/kayaks attached at all times.
Beach volleyball is ubiquitous.
Californians take their dogs everywhere.
Traffic is enough to make you want to get the heck out of southern California.
The beaches are overcast in the morning. In LA they stay that way all day.
Surf culture is alive and well.
In-N-Out Burger isn’t as good as I was led to believe.
Piers are to Southern California beaches as boardwalks are to New Jersey beaches.
