Seychelles Resorts —
Seychelles is a 115-island country in Africa. It’s located in the Indian Ocean east of Kenya. This small country is blessed with an extraordinary number of mind-blowing beaches and incredible luxury resorts making it a top pick for honeymooners and celebrities.
Seychelles’ primary tourist islands are Mahé, Praslin (Round Island), La Digue, and North Island.

Mahé Island Seychelles
Mahé is the largest island in the Seychelles as well as the country’s population center with almost 90% of the population residing on Mahé. As a result visitors will find the most diverse tourist opportunities there, from exploring the mountainous jungle interior to diving and snorkeling off the island’s pristine beaches to cultural opportunities in the capital city of Victoria. Of course, with its excellent resorts, gorgeous white sand beaches and sparkling clear blue water you may prefer to do nothing at all!
One of the Seychelles finest resorts, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, is located on Mahé. It was called “Simply the best place ever!!” by one reviewer and was a Travelers’ Choice 2015 winner. However, Four Seasons Seychelles is far from the only luxury resort on Mahé. Banyan Tree Seychelles is another first-class Seychelles hotel on the island.

Praslin Island Seychelles
Praslin is another Seychelles Island with lots of temptations. It too has a jungle. This one is where Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located. And gorgeous beaches. In fact two of them, Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, have appeared on the top 10 lists of the world’s best beaches. And fabulous resorts such as the Constance Lemuria, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Plus, it has a slightly slower, more relaxed ambiance than Mahé.

La Digue Island Seychelles
There is an enormous amount of biodiversity on La Digue ranging from the Seychelles’ black paradise flycatcher (one of Earth’s rarest birds) to the Chinese bittern, cave swiftlet, waxbill and two rare species of terrapin.
La Digue’s beaches are also magnificent and come in many varieties from the long sweeping arcs of pristine white sand on the island’s south side to the beautiful Anse Source D’Argent, which is framed by massive granite boulders, on La Digue’s west coast.

North Island Seychelles
North Island has only one hotel, the ultra luxurious North Island Resort. According to the resort’s website, North Island Resort is “Your exclusive Indian Ocean hideaway, a sumptuous and secluded escape from the stresses of daily life. In the heart of Seychelles, we have created an exceptional destination, where unashamed luxury, bespoke service and a generous all-inclusive offering combine to give you exceptional privacy and exclusivity in your tropical home from home.”
It’s a pretty good clue that North Island is completely over the top amazing when you consider that this is where Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, chose to spend their honeymoon. As did George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, and Salma Hayek and her husband, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault. North Island is also a favorite of David and Victoria Beckham.
To many joyful beach experiences!
