Hilton Head Island is located in the South Carolina Lowcountry. It’s 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Savannah, Georgia and 95 miles (153 km) southwest of Charleston, South Carolina. Hilton Head Beaches

All of Hilton Head’s beaches are public from the ocean to the high water mark. However, access to the beach is often private. One way to get to a private access beach – if you don’t want to go to a public access beach – is to walk along the beach from a public access point.

Alder Lane Beach Access off S. Forest Beach Drive. It’s wheelchair accessible.

Burkes Beach at the end of Burkes Beach Road.

Coligny Beach Park off Coligny Circle. It’s wheelchair accessible.

Driessen Beach Park at the end of Bradley Beach Road. It’s wheelchair accessible.

Fish Haul Park at the end of Beach City Road.

Folly Field Beach Park off Folly Field Road. It’s wheelchair accessible.

Islanders Beach Park off Folly Field Road. It’s wheelchair accessible.
