It is located on a barrier island called Daytona Beach Shores that is seven miles away from the Daytona Beach International Airport. The hotel has 212 rooms, and prices start at $160.00 for a double guestroom. Amenities include a fitness center, a full-service day spa, a restaurant, a Tiki bar, and a heated pool. The Shores Resort & Spa does permit dogs and cats.
2. Hilton Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village
The Hilton Daytona Beach Resort is a large four-star hotel with 744 rooms and suites; a double room can start at $101.00 per night. The resort overlooks the beach and is located near the Daytona Lagoon. It boasts seven restaurants that serve a variety of cuisines, two outdoor pools, a fitness center and a spa. It also has 60,000 square feet of meeting space for events like weddings, conventions or conferences. Pets and service animals are allowed.
3. Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront
The Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront is a three-star hotel that overlooks the ocean and is a five-minute walk to the beach. It has 188 rooms, including 20 suites. A double room starts at $135.00 a night. The resort has an on-site restaurant and bar as well as a play area for children. Children 19 and under stay for free providing they share a room with their parents. The only pets allowed are service animals.
4. Sea Shells Beach Club
The Sea Shells Beach Club is a three-star hotel in the center of town. It overlooks the beach and is 1.4 miles from the Boardwalk Amusement Area and 1.1 miles from the Daytona Lagoon Waterpark. The 37 rooms range from spaces that can accommodate two to two-bedroom suites that can accommodate six. The rooms start at $122.00 a night. Amenities include a heated pool, outdoor grill, fitness center and free beach cruiser bicycles. Cribs and pets are not allowed.
5. Days Inn Daytona Beach
The Days Inn Daytona Beach is a two-star hotel about two miles from the beach. Its rooms start at $89.00 per night. Amenities include a pool, laundry facilities and free breakfast. Children 17 and under may stay for free. The Inn does not allow pets other than service animals.
6. The Mayan Inn
The Mayan Inn is a two-star hotel overlooking the beach. It is also near the Peabody Auditorium, the Joyland Amusement Center, and the Ocean Deck Beach Club. The last is a restaurant with live music. The Inn has 110 rooms that start at $80.00 a night. Amenities include an outdoor pool and deck, a sports lounge, a Tiki bar and a continental breakfast. Children under 16 may stay for free if they use existing bedding. The Inn does not permit pets.
7. Villa Bed and Breakfast
The Villa Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast that was originally a mansion designed to resemble a Spanish villa. It is therefore one of the most opulent of the Daytona Beach hotels; the “great room” boasts terra cotta floors, a fireplace and a baby grand piano. There is also a heated pool and Jacuzzi. The four rooms are all single or double occupancy. The Villa typically requires a minimum stay of two nights, and its rooms start at $140 for a two-night stay. The Inn only accepts children who are 14 and up.
8. River Lily Inn
The River Lily Inn is a bed and breakfast that began life as an estate built in 1895. It has six rooms with weekday rates starting at $129 per night and weekend rates starting at $149.00. Some of the rooms overlook the Intracoastal Halifax River, while others overlook the pool or gardens. The Inn has a library and a living room with board games. Children must be at least 10 years old, and pets other than service dogs are not allowed.
9. Sand Castle Motel
The Sand Castle Motel is one of the Daytona Beach hotels, and its proximity to the Sun Glow Fishing Pier makes it a tempting option for fishermen. There are also several charter boat companies nearby. The motel has a pool with a deck that overlooks the beach. Other amenities include a barbecue area with a gas grill. The rooms start at $81 a night. Visitors cannot bring their pets.
10. America’s Best Value Inn Daytona Beach
America’s Best Value Inn is a good Daytona Beach hotel for the budget-conscious; it has double rooms that start at $59 per night. It is four miles away from the Daytona Lagoon and five miles away from the airport. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a barbecue, and picnic area. The Inn offers discounts to the military and members of AARP and AAA. The property allows pets.
