Where are the world’s best private beaches? If they’re actually private, aren’t they off limits? Or, are you really looking for the best remote beaches or the best secluded beaches. Believe it or not, there’s a difference between private, remote and secluded.
Private beaches are owned by a company or individual, so are legally restricted to invited guests. Remote beaches are beaches that are located far away from population centers, which makes them difficult to get to. Secluded beaches are often remote because it’s their remoteness that makes them secluded, but a secluded beach doesn’t have to be remote. It can be a beach close to a population center that not many people go to.
