Playa Chac Mool

Playa Chac Mool Cancun is a typically gorgeous Caribbean beach with dazzling white sand and crystal clear, warm, turquoise water. In other words, it’s magnificent! The water at Playa Chac Mool is very shallow for quite a long way into the sea, which combined with a soft sandy bottom and generally consistent mid-size waves make it a good beach for lots of water sports. However, be careful because where the sea floor does drop off it does so quickly and into waters that often have a strong current.

Playa Cabana, a private beach club, is also found at Playa Chac Mool. Moon.com described Playa Cabana as “Tahiti-esque in style—dark wood cabañas have billowing curtains, queen-size beach loungers, and incredible views of the turquoise sea just a few feet away. There’s a DJ who spins cool tunes, a split-level infinity pool, plus a full bar and restaurant. It’s definitely a scene.”
